Summer Camps Schedule

July 5th—8th: Performing Arts

Do you love drama, magic, and enchantment? Then this is the week for you! Young wizards and fairies are most encouraged in joining us to perform a fairy tale where they will create their own set and costumes. Practice tricks to astound with magic and dazzle with circus and acrobatic feats. Whether it’s in the spotlight or behind the scenes, kids will love the wonderful fun they create together during our Performing Arts Week.

July 11th—15th: Building

Let’s get messy! Come make something all your own in a week of building and creating! Learn basic wood working skills, make art and marble race tracks through recycled materials, and create your own DIY project. Work with natural clay to create miniature bowls, pots, and sculptures. Build different forts, hide-outs and homes. Use all your new skills and wrap up the week with field trip to help build and create on a real working farm!

July 18th – 22nd: Outdoor Adventures

Young adventurers, gather your tools and let’s explore the great outdoors of Bend! Pilot Butte, Shevlin Park and the Deschutes River are calling your name. Search for different tracks of animals, species of trees, and identify plants, flowers and insects. Create natural public art to beautify our local surroundings along with unique pieces to take home. This week’s field trip will include a visit to the Bend Rock Gym. Spend the week adventuring around town and become an expert of Bend’s beautiful natural surroundings.

July 25th-29th: Olympics

Calling all athletes and future Olympians! Join us for a game and activity filled week celebrating the 2016 Summer Olympic Games! Campers will learn about the Games origins in Ancient Greece, create fun Olympic themed crafts like wreath crowns and team tie dye shirts, and practice different athletic events for our very own Waldorf Summer Camp 2016 Olympic Games! This week’s field trip will be to Juniper Pool, so suit up for a splashing good time.
